Operating since 1989, arrive alive DRIVE SOBER^® receives outstanding support from the public and media for which we are very grateful. A registered charity, we do not telemarket and do not use professional fundraisers. Our mission is to eliminate impaired driving in Ontario.

On Wednesday June 15th 2011, we hosted our 17th annual "Drive Straight" Charity Golf Classic at the Mandarin Golf and country Club in Markham. This year the tournament raised a net of $43,500.00 to support the office and activities of arrive alive DRIVE SOBER. The day was a gorgeous blue sky, “best day yet of the summer” for our golfers who completely enjoyed the chance to be out in great weather, supporting a great cause.

Our corporate sponsors continue to make the tournament a huge success with donations of funds, resources and connections. Many thanks to Corporate Sponsors: Diageo Inc., Insurance bureau of Canada, Labatt Breweries Ontario, Molson Canada and Yamaha Motor Canada.

The tournament is held at the Mandarin Golf and Country Club in Markham and all details of the day are determined and arranged by a volunteer committee that meets approximately eight times through the year.
